Vendor Program
Many vending machine owners are required to participate with a charity in order to place their machines in public locations. Our vendor program affords vending machine owners the opportunity to help in our cause by placing photo-stickers of missing children on their machines. One in seven missing children is found because someone recognizes the child’s photo and alerts authorities. Frequently Asked Questions
- Do you require a minimum number of machines to participate?
Vendors must own a minimum of twenty machines in order to participate in this program. Past experiences have shown us that vendors with fewer machines have difficulties maintaining their equipment, their payments and, most importantly, the currency of the stickers.
- How much does it cost to participate in the Vendor Program?
The Vendor Program costs $12.00 per machine per year. All vendor contracts begin in February and end in January of the following year. However, vendors are welcome to join the program at any point during the year and we will prorate your contract so that you only pay for the remaining months of your first contract year. (Example: If a vendor joins in August, he/she will only pay $6.00 per machine because there are only 6 months remaining in the contract year. In February of the following year, the vendor may renew the contract at the standard $12.00 per year.)
- How does Find The Children use this money?
The annual participation fee covers the cost of printing the stickers, managing the Vendor Program and printing fliers of missing children which we distribute through our corps of volunteers.
- Can I pay monthly?
No. In order to keep our bookkeeping costs down, we process the contracts on an annual basis rather than monthly.
- What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept personal checks, business checks, cashier’s checks and money orders. We don NOT accept credit cards. Please note: If payment is made by personal or business check, we are required to wait three business days for the check to clear before we can send your stickers. If payment is made by cashier’s check or money order, we will send your stickers the same day that we receive your contract.
- Do I get a copy of the contract?
Yes! Once we receive your contract, Find The Children will sign and date it and send you a photocopy with your welcome package. We recommend that you maintain records of your vending business and of your participation with Find The Children.
- What if I sell my machines or go out of business?
The contract requires vendors to remove stickers if you plan to sell or give away your machines. If the new machine owner does not have a contract with us, we will not be able to inform them when a child has been found. ALL PARTIES involved can be held liable if an out-of-date sticker remains posted. Because Find The Children uses the funds from the Vendor Program to support its mission, we are not able to provide refunds to vendors who terminate their contracts before the year’s end.
- What if I need to terminate my contract with Find The Children?
The contract requires vendors to remove stickers once you end your participation with Find The Children. Once your contract is terminated, we remove your information from our active files and no longer contact you if a child is found. ALL PARTIES involved can be held liable if an out-of-date sticker remains posted. Because Find The Children uses the funds from the Vendor Program to support its mission, we are not able to provide refunds to vendors who terminate their contracts before the year’s end.
- How long does it take to get the stickers?
We send the stickers via U.S. mail.. There is an optional rush fee of $15.00 which will allow us to send your stickers via Express Mail, which takes 1-2 business days.
- Do you provide verification of my participation with Find The Children?
Yes! After we process your application, we will send you a welcome package including your stickers, information about our organization and a formal letter verifying your participation with Find The Children. Vendors may copy this letter and provide it as proof to the necessary parties. The letter specifies that your contract with Find The Children is valid for one year. Upon renewal of the contract, we will send an updated letter.
- Are the children on the stickers missing from all over the world?
Our organization is based in Los Angeles, CA and most of our missing children cases originate in Southern California. However, many abducted children are taken out-of-state or even out of the country, so it is important to post their photos in as many places as possible.
- What if the child pictured on the sticker is found?
When a child is found, we will notify you immediately and send replacement stickers for no additional charge. The contract requires the vendor to remove the “found” sticker as soon as possible. All parties can be held liable if the “found” stickers are not removed.
- Does Find The Children replace the stickers each time I renew my contract?
No. It is important to continue search efforts for as long as necessary. Find The Children will only replace the stickers if the child is found, if the information is out-of-date, or if the child is no longer recognizable by the photo.
- What if the stickers are vandalized/ ruined?
It is the vendor’s responsibility to maintain the condition of the machine and the stickers. If a sticker is defaced, the vendor may pay for a new sticker to replace it. Replacement stickers cost $12.00 per sticker regardless of how much time remains on the contract.

Or you can now make your Vending Donation on-line. E-mailed kidintuition@earthlink.net or fax your applications after you have received a confirmation by PayPal as we must receive Vending Donation first. Once we have received your Vending donation and application we will process your application.
