Since 1999, Find The Children has offered a free stranger safety program, called Kid Intuition, to elementary school students throughout Los Angeles County. To date, we have visited almost 500 elementary schools and educated over 751,000 children about stranger safety. The Kid Intuition program can be delivered in English and Spanish and is designed to increase children’s ability to recognize and avoid potentially dangerous situations. The program is presented in individual classrooms to ensure that the content is age appropriate and taught in a kid-friendly manner. Our trained speakers aim to empower students, rather than frighten them.
